I have read almost everything on this subject and have tried everything. I believe i have everything i need for this to work, but no success. I have the most recent nightly build, made sure port forwarding was correct, and am using a slingbox solo.. any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks...

Same here. Error connecting to sling box but sling is on the same internal network.
I understood with latest xbmc build no adding is needed?
Just enter the link with sling://username:pass@IP

I just wanted to check the status on the Slingbox HD development. Thanks for all your hard work.

Has anyone attempted to connect to a Dish 722K receiver with the Sling adapter? Looks there looks to be a change in the username which is preventing access.

As far as I understand I can add video by entering
sling://username:password@slingboxaddress:port

How can I doublecheck that the username, password, IP and port I use are correct ??

Anyone knows whether there is a slingplayer add-on in the making? I have a slingplayer-classic and would love to stream to my xbmc htpc. Thanks!

Not really, is it? I thought that I have some complex way to play sling in XBMC, but no way that I can switch channels, etc.

Anyone else noticed jumpy picture and audio discontinuity on Slingbox playback with the latest xbmc git builds? I rebuilt from the latest git tree with mythtv support and realised now Slingbox playback in unwatchable. Trying again but compiling with external ffmpeg to see if it's better.

It works well for viewing the current channel on the slingbox, but I havn't tried to implement channel changing yet.

It looks like only buttons 0-9 and channel up/down are supported at the moment.
