I want to set this up and have done all the pre-setup stuff short of modding the advancedsettings.xml - my question is I have been using a local database and it is all set up nicely - can I copy this to the "new" mySQL database, or is it a full rebuild?
Thanks
Shared mySQL database - can you copy the existing one?

Export your local database and then update your advancedsettings to point to the new MySQL database. Import into your new database.

You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Add-on:YouTube]] = Add-on:YouTube, [[Adding videos to the library]] = Adding videos to the library, [[userdata]] = userdata, etc |
