I have just found a i3 2105 + GA-H61N-USB3 for £40 more then a6 3500 + ASRock A75M-ITX. I have bought the Antec 300-65 case just waiting for it to come and was thinking if the i3 2105 is the way to go in the long run

It's up to you.... the a6-3500 been working flawless.....
i3 2105 ? are you going to multitask? Even the 3500 you also can multitask..... Just HTPC use, surf, the web, youtube, netfilx..... lalala then a6-3500 I am officially going to stop posting..... I am getting tired of the same ol questions....... (Eskro how do you do it?) I brought my build and showed it worked flawless...... people duplicating..... they are all happy..... I guess we need someone new builds..... keep it all fresh..... someone that is a guinea pig and shows us that it can be done! But at the moment the a6-3500 is a winner..... Alright.... have a great Sunday.... then back to work..... "A6-PACK" The Original ☆ unRAID Server ☆ MCE Remote Turn ON HTPC FOUND! w/DONGLE Time to sit back, relax and enjoy XBMC.... CHEERS!!! |

For regular HTPC usage, AMD A6-3500 should be a great option...... >Alienware X51- do it all HTPC >Simplify XBMC configurations >HOW-TO Bitstreaming using XBMC I refused to watch movie without bitstreaming HD audio! |

Yes but come on .... if you just HTPC.... not running stuff in the background ..... I guess you drive a Beamer huh blu? Why don't you get a a6-3500 and try it ..... maybe now you can get a Geo Metro..... Anyways the A6-3500 is great! I bet you everyone who has the A6-3500 is very happy with it. That is why I said....different people have different needs......as you can see, I laid out two scenarios in post #3...... I need something with a little more Zoom...Zoom then a Geo.....but I don't mind replacing my E-350 with A6-3500. I'm waiting for it to choke up on me first.....

Thanks guys for your feedback. The reason i said about the i3 2105 was because down the road if i wanted to play games as well as use it for htpc i can add a graphics card but now am thinking i just might stick with the apu or the new apu trinity that are coming out
