need help to make playlist of stream(short flv clips) links within xml file.

I must be being realy stupid here, i can follow those instruction to the now playing screen an can see my list, i just cant save it. The only options i can get are add to favourites, move item and remove.

to save queued items, don't open the context menu. instead push "left" (or "right" in some cases maybe) to open the sidebar options menu (doesn't work if you have your skin set to kiosk mode i think). you should now have the option to save as playlist.

btw, i've updated the futubox lists (now with channel logos) and added the rtsp versions. they hardly buffer (to the point where the picture freezes). instead there will be a picture glitch, but sound and thus the stream continues to play see my signature for the link to pastebin.

Ok I am following you so far, thanks for that. So I have my playlist but I cant add it to the home menu. The skin Im using , Aeon MQ3, has customizable buttons for favourites and video playlists, amongst others. If I add the playlist as a favourite it plays the 1st stream from the list, which obviously i dont want. So I try to add as a video playlist but my playlist doesnt show up as it is looking for an .xsp file when my playlist is a M3U audio playlist. Is there any way round this ?

i just checked out that skin. only suggestion i can make right now, is if it's not a humoungous list, add each individual channel to your favourites and then use the favourites in the main menu setting. say for instance, you have 4 news channels in the list, name favourites1 "news" and add the individual channels as submenu points. not optimal for channel surfing, but fairly easy from an access standpoint and potentially far less clicking than via the xml file. i think if you change the skin options to pro, you'd have 10 possible favourites in the main menu with 5 submenu items. that would make for 50 channels. sorry i can't provide a better option.

Yes I had figured that out, but have run out of favourites now. Thanks for your help with this. Now i have just got to find a stream for Sky 1 & Sky Atlantic and I'm done.Cheers.

those are gonna be tough. i've been looking for sky 1 for months and the sky atlantic i had changed it's address and upped the securitey to boot. if you have in fact used up all your favourites and are running a pvr build of xbmc, i'd almost suggest adding the channels you want to the xbmc pvr. i've done it that way. there's no epg for the live streams but i just use an xmltv guide programm for that.

would love sky 1 and sky atlantic myself,any chance you guys (thatguy7669 and OldTerrier) could post your xml's for me,Thanks
