I still cannot get veetle to work even with version 1.04
it works great with jtv and utube

Sorry I should have tried it before posting...you are right: to invoke veetle stream from other plugin you will need to add that line of code
jtv and youtube work fine though

If your listitem has isfolder set to false and isplayable set to true, those lines will not be required.

Actually there's a merge request from around 5 months back which pretty much does the same thing. But t0mm0 is MIA. So no merging and no automatic updates unless we create a new repo.
