And this is exactly why my latest XBMC build is an AMD A6-3500, tricore at 2.1ghz. :X

The same here, I built the A6-Pack in The Antec Case: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=128009

I use W7 and the nightlies release from 06-05-2012 (haven't tried any of the newer rleases)

I'm still holding off on trying a nightly of v12. I look forward to 10bit support, but at the same time I'm thinking 'I don't wanna upgrade to an Alpha... I'll wait till at least a beta or an RC. Sad'

Hrm, using an E-350 based Zotac AD02, I was able to playback 720p 10bit using v12 Alpha 1 in Windows 7. There were a feeeeew dropped frames however, but if things get just a bit more efficent, at least 720p could be workable under nettop/netbook class hardware.

Yeah, I tested the latest nightly and noticed the same subtitles problems on said file.
Shine's one month old build, which I am currently using as my main XBMC build, doesn't have that problem.

The performace does seem to be improved though, although only marginally, on one of two tested files which contain scenes with heavy framedropping typesetting.
e.g. the title screen of http://www.nyaa.eu/?page=torrentinfo&tid=297788 has 3 more fps than before. A minimum of 7 fps instead of 4 fps. Big Grin So a small improvement in that regard.
