What prevented me to do the TRON them was, 1st lack of time, but also that I knew that, to make it really cool, I'd have to take all the icons, make them cyan (easy part) but also add a glow effect (pain in the ass part).

What you did until now is really cool, exactly how I had imagined to do it myself, congrats!

with a black/glowing cyan theme, I think we would need different backgrounds than current CE2's, something more hi-tech.

Anyway, great work!

Please send me all the files you think need a glow effect.

I agree that adding the glow effect is the hard part but it's way easier if I have the source files

If you want, I could upload the full moviegenres files, but it's heavy... 1Gb!
But with only one condition: if you decide to edit the moviegenres, you'll have to do the french ones too, not only the english!

I will do the genres once I'm done with the rest.

I might as well match the colors with those folders right?

Is it necessary to compress textures? Is there an easier way to test changes?

Just replace the backgrounds in the skin folder. Within the skin you have to change it by one to one yes, that's how all other skins do.

Yes. Else you need to download uncompressed media folder and replace the .png's with yours ...

Theres is a problem since the last Rev with the recently added for smart playlist. It doesn't work when I press up on the home menu.
It happens only with the orignal layout. With the alternative layout or if widget is enable, there's no problem.

I'm going to take a look. You're sure you've enabled the custom playlist widgets in skin settings?
