I saw the earlier post about the problem being Firefox and I tried XWMM on MS IE 9 and it worked fine. I suppose FF got updated sometime after I first started using it and then the problems started. Anyway, if you are using FF, try a different browser to see if XWMM starts working.

I have eden and it doesn't work with any tested browser anymore (no firefox, no ie). So what to do?
indeed: Chrome works!

that's interesting that it doesn't even work with eden now then.
i guess on linux we're stuck, the only way to edit the metadata is to edit the sqlite tables, as all the other programs are on windows (and generally development is dead on them all) i doubt even a vm would work as my movies are on nfs not samba.
its a bit rubbish that you can't edit the metadata straight from xbmc.

There are some changes that should make life easier. Well, no direct SQL through http api to set information. It's still a moving target and until the beta stages there isn't much point doing a major re-write on something that could change again. Plus I guess, slash has little spare time atm which is why the lack of posting.

hi,
just discovered this plugin and realy impressed with it so far. im hoping to use it to fill in the gaps that the allmusic scraper misses in my music library. the only problem is, my music library wont appear! tv and moves come up fine but when i click the music tab. the screen just goes white.
i have a pretty big library, is there a limit on the library size or something thats preventing it?
sorry if this has been answered but i couldnt find it from searching.
im using ie 9 but dont have any other browers to try.
thanks

Can anyone tell me how to use this tool? I desperately need a library editor because for some reason, even though I use theRenamer on most of my movies, the automatic library scan does not work for 50% of my stuff.
Now when I go to XWMM I have a lot of movies which don't have a title, some of them have some information, even a picture or complete, others have nothing. How am I supposed to figure out which file this is? I thought XWMM purpose was to exactly fix those errors manually? So is it me or is the field File Name just missing?

There is a file browser within XWMM, but I'm not sure that's what you're looking for.
I agree that the addition of a filename field would be appropriate.
