Are you skipping forward in the video? It looks fine to me as long as you dont skip, but if you do it gets way off. It's odd because the timings in gui and the subtitle file are correct and match. Xbmc just doesn't show the correct one.. I'll report upstream.

For how long do you pause it? I cant reproduce so can you get me a debug log?

Stream stops after a few minuttes. I got a good internet connection 28 mbit/s, so I wonder if it's the addon? Anyway great progress!

Nice work takoi! thanks for the updates !

Just tried your 3.1.8 with HD - been waitng for HD Smile
Just wanted you to know that video streams from either live channels stutters and audio is delayed, at least on my system.
I realize it's beta, would you need more info or can you reproduce ?

I tried all speeds from 3500 and downwards... they all stutter Wink

I'm aware of the stuttering. It's all pretty much unwatchable. But it's not something I did. This is beyond my control because xbmc is handling all the playback. I'll try to figure out what's wrong and report upstream though.

It's really weird, because on-demand videos does not stutter...

Yeah that is indeed a bit weird...
Maybe NRK has some weird encoding on their live feeds... Gonna try to use the live link feeds on another player to see if it's any different...

The only difference I can see is that the live streams are profile main while others are high. Otherwise they are identical. I think it's a xbmc bug because they works file in ffplay and vlc.

Would it then be possible to add an option in the plugin settings to enable/disable the use of VLC as an external player for the live streams?

This would of course require that users install VLC on their boxes, but I don't see that as problematic if it is optional.

The staff at nrk beta Is really helpfull, have you asked for any help there on your addon? I have been in contact with them, and they once tweaked your addon to make it work with the hd-on demand material. You fixed the same a couple of days later, but they are helpfull and supportive of xbmc and other media center solutions.

Well, I'm under a different impression. They talk about xbmc and appear to be interested in it, but they aren't interested in actually doing anything. I think what they want is a html view so they can control it. Mostly I just don't get any reply. Also: what fix are you talking about?

Here is what they wrote me: "

For øvrig veldig gøy å se at dette virker.

Anyway, sorry that they haven't been more helpfull. Sad

Well that's... odd. They never sent that patch to me or posted it on github. I think it was a user reporting it here.

Anyway, Im just happy they aren't working against us, like many content providers do.

Is it possible to make a xml-file for the live hd channels that could be added to the Livestreams addon? I don't have a clue how to do it myself Blush

I know it kind of defies the purpose of having a NRK-addon, but as a test of the live hd feeds it could be usefull....

Never heard of "the livestreams addon". If you can figure it out, here's all the stream links:
