Looks like I broke my vlc plugin... Need to investigate :\

Update: Sooo... my error was because of a spelling mistake! the ceton is pretty stable!

Removing my ceton and testing hdhomerun again...

Updating xbmc client... ok... I think I found the issue where people were having trouble connecting through xbmc if the server is secured.

Xbmc isn't playing the stream from the server :\. Going to have to take a look into it later today.

Strange thing is though, is that vlc and flash players play it fine!...

fixed xbmc streaming! Smile

EDIT:
I see the issue some people were getting with the epg not loading. Lets see if I can fix that!

EDIT: Thats done too!...
Need to make two more quick tweaks to auto selection! + cleanup temp iphone files

EDIT: one more small fix... then some testing

EDIT: It's useable but not a final product Smile...
The settings page needs some touching up later, but everything should work.
Note: Try refreshing the settings page if nothing shows up...

Good job.

Settings work fine with Chrome, but not with IE for me. Server responds to remote access but no trascoding. Should the remote syntax be the same? I'm trying "http://xxx.xxx.xx.xxx:8555/play?tuner=1&channel=592&transcodeBitrate=2000&transcodeResolution=720&redirect=true"

Tuner isn't used. Default port is 8888. I made transcodeBitrate and transcodeResolution bitrate and resolution.

So try this URL:

Also, are you using serviio? Do you have to modify each URL by hand?

Edit: I can put back transcodeBitrate and transcodeResolution params if you need them.
Maybe I'll also add shorter parameters like this:

Todo later:
- cleanup settings page
- rewrite web client
- add adaptive streaming support for android/ios clients

I'd have to modify URLs by hand, but it's no big deal, new syntax makes more sense. Streaming seems broken for me. With HDHR streaming starts but it's unwatchable, bitrate gets stuck at ~500 kb/s. With Ceton, it does not connect to the card. Both work flawlessly with old RemoteCeton. Same issues happen both local & remote. My system is x64 - could that be an issue?

If you can show more info on the DOS server screen maybe I can track it down. I just get the "VLC strated. make sure it's really streaming". VLC.exe appears to be working.

What bitrate did you use for hdhr when you tried streaming? I havent really played too much with the higher bitrates.
For the ceton did you see: "Failed to add device"?
I'm working on adding a log file for more detailed logging.

I'm trying "http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8555/play?channel=592&bitrate=2000&resolution=720&redirect=true" but I've gone as low as bitrate=300 and still seems to be fixed at around 500. I don't think the server is taking the values...

For Ceton, I can add the device and the server reports 4 tuners, but it does not respond to calls.

I am having problems with mine working, it connects to the webgui but it cannot play any of the streams. It says:
"video not found or access denied: localhost:8559/video.flv"
When I look at the command line that opens up when I run tv.exe it said it couldn't use tuner 4, but now it doesn't display anything but the tuners.

I am also having a problem connecting my Galaxy S3 to it since it goes to the login screen even if it is disabled. I put the information in and press login but it doesn't go anywhere, this is using the old /m/iphone.html path.

Windows 7 64bit
