Sorry about the delay. Got trapped in a surprise pre valentines weekend. Probably not going to have any time tonight either, maybe an hour or so, but I will get something on as soon as possible.

Ok I know it's stil very very early stages but these are the concepts I've knocked together for the home and categories page. I also am designing a 'profile' page which will have more info about each plugin.

Let me know what you think and maybe we can have a chat about how we can move this forward.

Looks good to me, exactly how I would imagine it.

Another idea would be to have a top 10 plugin and maybe a 10 most recent plugins tab.

Take a look at the android store to see what I mean.

You need a weather section too I think?
Addons I wrote &/or maintain:
OzWeather (Australian BOM weather) | Check Previous Episode | Playback Resumer | Unpause Jumpback | XSqueezeDisplay | (Legacy - XSqueeze & XZen)
Sorry, no help w/out a *full debug log*.

Not really yet, we are just linking to the zip file on the xbmc servers.

The main idea would be to be able to browse and comment on plugins via a consistent interface. You can install them from the XBMC GUI in the normal way.

As xbmc uses standard zip files for plugins it is very hard to auto install them from a web interface unfortunately.

Ok, xbmc could really benefit from something like this, a friend had purchased a boxee and it was the only thing i liked better, was an app wall nicely laid for end users.

it is much needed.

Agreed, and thanks to the posters who have taken this on.

Since @killfall is not responding, I might have another go at a redesign.

I'm loving the new Google Play site for inspiration

Did some new updates on this over the last few months Smile

Its all coming together quite nicely.

We still have a lot of work to do on the backend like how we update images and getting standardized add-on metadata but the front-end is pretty much complete.

Any thoughts?

What would you like to see on the official add-on frontend?
