OS X Mavericks - No sound after 2 or 3 days (debug log attached)
#91
I had the same result on the first build. Worked initially, then broke.

http://mirrors.xbmc.org/test-builds/osx/...x86_64.dmg (LATEST) seems to fix the problem for me.

@Memphiz can you add device change events back and create a build with this: https://github.com/FernetMenta/xbmc/comm...c6d182eb79

Will do.
BTW - I can't replicate the 1 to 2 second glitch above .. hence no debug

No issues - works well (under limited testing). Debug here

@Memphiz I can't see the device change events. Are you sure that you re-enabled those?
Reply
Yes i have reenabled them for sure:

see https://github.com/Memphiz/xbmc/blob/osx...X.cpp#L296

In giganturs logs they didn't appear always - it was in repsteins logs where we saw them. (its a different story why those are not fired on giganturs setup - it seems the os doesn't think anything to the device list changed ...).

Does that mean we fixed it? Smile

Looks like it. Will this be included in Beta 3? Smile

So while XBMC was sitting idle after my last test, it just crashed out of no where.

Crash log

Any ideas?
Reply
looks like it crashed in VideoInfoScanner which is not related to the issue in this thread.
