HOW-TO Compile Tvheadend & HDHomerun on Synology NAS
(2014-04-17, 18:41)samukas Wrote: Ok, so I am ashamed... and lost :/

After I did what you suggested, schumi2004, I went over to /spksrc/cross/tvheadend-testing
and did "make arch-bromolow".
I thought I would end up with an SPK file right away but apparently I didn't...

Edit: Of course I had used the make command in the wrong directory, I now have an SPK file. Let's try it Smile

It seems you figured it all out already.

make ARCH=bromolow tvheadend-testing

@schumi2004 Have you got your HDHomerun running now on DSM 5?

That's too bad. Unbelievable that one update can give so many problems for HDHomerun users.

Hello, friends! I apologize, I had a lot of work and was away. Now I have time, I hope something can help you. At what stage you are right now with the HDHR? I will be glad to help you if you have not been successful yet.

@schumi2004 Package doesn't work. Tried it on 4.3, but no luck.

@aisman We are still honing for a working driver on DSM 5. As far as I know, there still isn't any.

hi,

my NAS is the DS411+ => so x86

I tried (from http://syno.dierkse.nl/ thx schumi2004)

Version: 1.0.1-1
Architecture: x86
Build: 4458
MD5: 52572ff0192b50d4517bc9f0b7cdb245

The dirvers seems OK.
Tvheadend lists the 2 HDR adaptater.

With tvheadend 3.4.27-6 (from synocommunity official repo) i got service, mais doesnt work with channel (maybe i did something wrong)
EDIT => delete => reinstall => Works ! Smile

With tvheadend 3.9.569-1 (from http://syno.dierkse.nl/) i got any service when I add MUX.
there a new line "network" in the adapater configuration, and there is nothing in the list, even if add a network (predifined or not).
any idea ?
EDIT => haven't try after sucess with v3.4

anyway, this driver is a big step
thx to the author, and the helpers Smile

Finally there is a driver working on DSM 5.0(DS210j) more @ https://github.com/SynoCommunity/spksrc/issues/958 and https://github.com/SynoCommunity/spksrc/issues/161
Synology 210j NAS + TvHeadend + HDHomeRun + Raspbmc

You would think that there is some configuration file that needs to be modded.
I have seen other people saying that they needed to change config file to ATSC instead of DVB-C.
Actually a fact is that TVH does see 4 tuners now, only 2 are wrongly configured for your environment Wink

RTFM, not going to help you now.
Aisman helped you in the past by instructing you almost every letter you should type, figure it out yourself now.
Why not follow git for dummy's @git itself Wink
