Release VideoExtras Addon
@Honko:

1) what is your DialogVideoInfo. xml file, could you please post it?
2) Could you please post a screen-shot of your folder structure showing the Movie folder (parent folder), Extras folder and their respective content?
3) Have you set up 'use subfolder called Extras' in VideoExtras configuration?
4) Are you using a local hardrive, share, etc...
5) Could you please post a log with VideoExtras debugging turned on (you can find this under its configuration pane). When collecting the log just fire up XBMC with debugging already on, then just go to one movie extras and then exit XBMC. That will be short and will give enough info to see what might be happening.
Best,

capfuturo

@Honko:
6) What version of VideoExtras add-on are you using with XBMC?
7) could you please post a link to a screenshot of your movie's Information screen and your Extras's list for the example you are giving above ('28 Days Later (2002)')?
Instructions: get direct screenshot from within XBMC by pressing control+s in Windows 7 (command+s in OS X) . First create the folder where you would like XBMC to save the images, e.g: you can create a subfolder called XBMC within pictures: pictures/XBMC/ . In order to tell XBMC to save the images in there just go to system settings->system->debugging->screenshot folder and select the folder. Upload the images to any image hosting website (imgur, someimage.com, etc.) and post them here.
8) I can't see any activity regarding VideoExtras in your log. Are you sure you pressed 'ok' after you turned on debugging in the add-on's configuration pane? If you get a new log, please reproduce the action of going into the information pane of the movie you listed the directory contents above ('28 Days Later (2002)'), then into the Extras list and play an extra, then stop and exit XBMC

@Warlion: Did the issue with script.videolanguage you exposed HERE persist or get resolved somehow? After having a look at Honko's DialogVideoInfo.xml I've got a slight feeling that his issue may be a bit of what you described on your post.

@Rob: Do you think it could be the script.videolanguage breaking the script.videoextras?
Best,

capfuturo

Looks like the names that are being displayed are being read from NFO files - can you check (and post if needed) the contents of the NFO files for each of the extras - I guess they have the incorrect name in them.

Honko, for easy viewing on the forum I have inserted the links as images. This is something I advice you to do so it is easier for us to assess rapidly what someone's talking about. For that you need to always upload your images to website that provide you a share link (not a download link). As Rob said, we are waiting for your NFO files, which you can upload them to xbmclogs too, as you have done with your xml file.
Best,

capfuturo

AH thats it!!!

The additional files are relicts from "before Extra Folder times" which were added by Ember.
I will remove them all!!

Thx at Rob and the Captain Wink you are very helpful guys!!! Smile
I'm currently using Gotham Beta 4 (I have a NUC) and the default confluence skin running on OpenOffice (3.95.6). It looks like the built-in support for videoextras has been removed... Is that correct? Want to get confirmation before I try to modify the skin. I have also tried with MQ5, and the extras work there, but the skin isn't stable for me in general...

Or, perhaps you expect the skin to work correctly, and I've done something else wrong, at which point I'll have to provide some more details...

Never used OpenOffice - standard confluence for XBMC does not have the hooks for VideoExtras by default.

Rob
Haha, silly phone autocorrect... OpenOffice => OpenELEC.

And by hooks, you mean the changes to the XML files, right?
