[SUPPORT] USTV VoD (Video-on-Demand)
Try opening http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:arc:e...66bc64cc52 in your browser and see what it redirects to.

Thanks for the hard work, love it. I might be missing something obvious but is there a way to sign in with my cable info to get the restricted channels?

Not yet, workking out how to confirm you are authenticated from adobe isn't easy.

It redirects to the geoblocked website in Chrome, but that was expected as I was only using the USTV VoD DNS proxy settings and hadn't set it up for the whole computer. I've been trying to stay away from putting my whole computer through a proxy if possible.

From what I can see in your log, it's not redirecting correctly inside the plugin. Which dns proxy do you use? Have you checked that your ip is synced?

Smart DNS Proxy and it should be synced. I had it working in USTV VoD before the Daily Show updated it's website (about a month or two ago) and as far as I can tell from looking at my Smart DNS account page and the USTV VoD settings, everything is set up as should be. I haven't changed the settings since they last worked.

Are other Smart DNS Proxy (or DNS Proxy in general) users doing OK with USTV VoD?

I also use Smart DNS proxy for all development on this plugin, and for watching the shows of course. Haven't had a geoblock ever since I started using it.

hmm, after further looking around it seems like Smart DNS Proxy somehow lost my IP address. After re-detecting my address I'm now able to watch the Daily Show. Thanks for everyone's help!

Hi All

So a bit of a weird situation here.

I live in NZ, and as you know stuff like this is US only. However my ISP here has decided to offer everyone "global mode" haha which from what I can tell is a ISP wide VPN service (for free).

Basically it allows me to navigate and watch episodes on the likes of Hulu etc. With no other setting changes or anything (apparently they have done all the changes from their end).

So I'm keen on trying out this add-on now that I should technically be able to use it. However after it caches correctly and all that, when I get to actually watch a video it throws an error? Here is the log:

Can anyone help me out with this?

Thanks

Hi guys.
Thanks in advance for any help offered.
I deleted all traces of the Blue Cop Free Cable Plugin, and installed this plugin.
I'm trying to get the Adult Swim portion to work, and get "script failed" errors.
The version I installed was from the repositories.
Added log.
Semi noob to XMBC, not a noob to computers.
Hopefully we can get a resolution.
Thanks for reading.

Hey there everyone I am pretty much a noob to this. Hope you guys don't mind some questions and I appreciate any response or help you may give.

So I am running a RaspberryPi with Openelec XBMC (Gotham) and I am in Canada. I have managed to have some success with certain Addons but other "more popular" ones give me script errors when I try to load them from the Zip Files. Is this most likely a geo coding issue? And if so what is the best solution as I am reading different things about Proxies, VPN's and so on but is one better than the other? Also is it better to set it up on my router or in openelec itself. So confused!

Thanks for your time and knowledge!!!

It's better you set up it on openelec itself not to mess up your whole connection. e.g OpenVPN for XBMC. Or you take a smartDNS (google it). If you still have not bought anything, get a smartDNS. You can set DNS in add-on settings. Yea, some are like geo-blocked, take a look here (scroll down to channels)

If you have certain script errors please post a log file.
