Release Universal Movie Scraper
(2014-10-05, 01:29)mortstar Wrote: It seems that RottenTomatoes isn't returning the correct rating (at least for TomatoMeter/All), nor the Critics' Consenus. Every movie gets a score of 1.0, they've recently updated their site layout so I'm guessing that is connected. Here's a log refreshing a movie's info http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=310648

EDIT:

ParseRTTomAll RegExp needs changing to: "all-critics-meter".*?([0-9]+).*?Reviews Counted:.*?([0-9]+)
ParseRTTomTop RegExp needs changing to: "top-critics-meter".*?([0-9]+).*?Critic Reviews: ([0-9]+) (plus above RegExp in first function)
ParseRTOutline RegExp needs changing to: Critics Consensus:</span> ([^<]+)</p>

ParseRTAveAll and ParseRTAveTop are fine.

This is extremely quick research, tested against only two movies not on boundary conditions, caveat emptor!

This should be fixed by now.

Are you saying that this should be fixed as in "why hasn't it been fixed?" or that we should no longer be seeing this problem? I checked last night that the Universal Scraper plugin was updated then re-scraped on a movie which had a 1.0 rating, and it came back again with the 1.0 rating (obviously using Rotten Tomatoes for ratings).

Means that you should no longer be seeing this problem... If you are, try a force refresh on the xbmc repo from within the addon browser. If it still comes back with 1.0 after a refresh, give me an example.

Edit: ..and if I am saying "by now", don't think a check last night is good enough Tongue

Hello
i'm using Universal Movie Scraper, but i have a problem.
For some movies i have trailers stored in the movie folder.
When UMS scans those folders, it generates 2 entries in the db, where the only difference between them is the c19 field,
one has the path plugin: with the url of the trailer on youtbe, the other has the smb: with the path to the movie trailer in the movie folder
is that a bug?

You can have UMS ignore trailers. If you haven't already created an advancedsettings.xml (wiki) file you will need to do so, and include this code-
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<advancedsettings>
    <video>
        <excludefromscan>
            <regexp>-trailer</regexp>
        </excludefromscan>
        <excludetvshowsfromscan>
            <regexp>-trailer</regexp>
    </video>
</advancedsettings>

This will tell UMS to ignore any video files as long as they are named like this-
Image

Trailer is named exactly the same as the associated video file with the -trailer tag appended.

Ok done... i'll do a new scan soon.

But i would like to know if it's a bug, or i'm doing something wrong, with trailers

my trailers are named exaclty like the one you posted
Reply
I wouldn't call it a bug really. Just a requirement to have Kodi ignore these videos. There are other addons that also have to use regexp's.

Make sure you clean your DB to remove the old listings of the trailers.

Hi, I have installed Universal Movie Scrapper and really like it, however the rotten tomatoes score is not showing. Do I have to do something for it to do so?

Hi

I am having trouble with some concert DVDs which are not correctly scraped even though they are present in TMDB. At first I had the scraper set to IMDB and only added a TMDB URL to the nfo file, but after lots and lots of searching I finally found one post in this thread stating that TMDB links in nfo files are not supported. I think it would help if it said so in the first post or the wiki because if you read the wiki pages for nfo files in general there are TMDB links in the examples.
Well anyway I switched the sourcefolder to universal movie scraper with TMDB, preferred language for titles and so on is DE or German. there are two concerts which are not scraped, even though I can see in the logfile that the correct ID was initially found, but then it omits the ID when downloading the information details.

You can see that at the lines starting with "scraper: GetSearchResults" and the following lines the ID is returned and used for the lookup, but in the line starting with "scraper: GetDetails returned" the ID is gone. I suspect this is because there is no IMDB ID for this title since it's not present in IMDB. I have the same problem with another concert which is also not present in IMDB.
The problem is the same when I start a manual "update information" and then select the title found in TMDB.

Just for you info: the builtin TMDB scraper doesn't have this problem with these titles, it scraped them just fine. If you need I can post the logfile from this also.

Cheers
Andy

Is there any where that explained the settings in full please? Wiki just links to here. Most of the settings are self explanatory, but some I'm not sure of. For example...

Get keywords and save as tags from themoviedb.org
What are the benefits of this, and will the tags be saved to NFO on library export?

Trailer Sources
Can I select all three so that if trailer isn't found on one of the sites, it will search the others? If I can select all three, which one will it use by default?

Search Engine to Use
What does this do exactly? I mean when would a user, and how does a user use this?

Thank you

Is this possible yet please?

No. You can download the artwork you like and use Movieset Artwork Automator to set the artwork in the DB for each set.

Ok thanks wgstarks. Do you know of any plug-in that will automatically download the artwork please? The one in MAA isn't working.

Anyone, any thoughts on my other questions please? I'm particularly interested in the trailer sources. In additional to those questions regarding this, how does it actually source the trailers? Downloaded or tag within nfo?

[UPDATE] Gave it a test. Doesn't download and just standard trailer YouTube tag in nfo, so what does the trailer sources do please? I've enabled HD-Trailers, themoviedb and trakt, but can see what it does. As said, a full run down of all the settings would be great, if anyone can point me in the right direction please?

Thank you

No. MAA does not download artwork. As I said you have to download it and then you can use MAA to add it to your library.

Thank you. I understand what you are saying, but recent versions of MMA did download artwork (see thread), but currently that option is not working. As such I wondered if anyone knew of another working app that could automatically download art work.

Does anyone know the answers to my other questions please, or is everyone else in the dark like me here?
