But problem i have is that trailer is not downloaded. but instead youtube links is in place. Can i forbid emm from putting youtube links? its either trailer file or no trailer at all.

These are two different things:
- Trailer Link in Data Scrapers will fill a link / URL to NFO. If you have enabled "Youtube Plugin Trailer Format", Ember does change all YouTube links to a link that will start the XBCM addon YouTube.
- If you want a local trailer file, you need to enable "Trailer Support" in "Scrapers - Trailers" and also enable one of the trailer scrapers.

The two things have nothing to do with each other.
Disable "Trailer" in global data scraper settings if you don't want trailer links in NFO.

Sorry i missed your post Dan.

If i disable "Trailer" in global data scraper settings, wouldnt that disable trailer downloading? I want ember to download trailer but not put youtube links. Is this possible?

Thanks and sorry again.
(2014-10-21, 18:30)Cocotus Wrote: 1. Ember sets mpeg4 automatically when codec contains mpeg4. The reason why this conversion is forced is to support XBMC skins - if you have V_MPEG4/ISO/AVC in codec tag of nfo, like <codec>V_MPEG4/ISO/AVC </codec> chances are high that appropiate videe codec flag won't be shown in XBMC skin <codec>mpeg4 </codec> is supported by confluence, aeon mq, aeon nox at least. Also with V_MPEG4/ISO/AVC saved in codec tag in nfo, by default Ember won't display any icon.

1. In older versions of EMM 1.4.x, the metadata for v_mpeg4/iso/avc was scraped as "<codec>h264</codec>". It is only in the newer beta versions that this now gets scraped as "<codec>mpeg4</codec>". I've got a few movies sitting on my hard drive that were processed with the older betas, and the .nfo files mirror what I just mentioned. However, based on the bug report you linked, I think this will all get squared away anyhow with the updated code you were going to program in.

I am using the latest version of mediainfo. As you can see, the video bitrate is definitely not 0. It's 5000 kbps.

3. In regards to secondary audio not scanning a correct bitrate, I just realized that is because mediainfo doesn't list the bitrate for it. It's an OPUS audio file. So, that's not EMM's fault. So, carry on here. Smile

tanks for the quick reply. I will try the Plex plugins.

But for Ember - it seems it depends on the drive. Where can I change the xml which is used?

It's not a XML issue if it works on c:\ but not on d:\.
But the XMLs are in .\Ember Media Manager\Settings folder.

EDIT - the picture upload did not work, but this is 100% repeatable, so presumably easy to test.

We no longer fill the SortTitle field with ListTitle respectively "Title with tokens".
Now, the problem is that all SortTitle fields in database are empty, except the manually setted Sort Titles.... Confused

I think we need to change some things again.

I have 2 movies that i cannot see inside Ember so that means i cannot scrape them. I updated the whole Library, Updated the specific source, and nothing...

Then i finally realized, it's because of the names of the movies themselves!!

Free Samples (2012) and Sample This (2012)

Any way for me to add these to ember to scrape without renaming them to something without the word sampleHuh

-Pr.

Hehe, this is hard coded Big Grin
Ember ignore all video files that contains "sample", "-trailer" or "[trailer".

I will try to find a better solution for this.

But atm, you can only rename the files to solve this.

As I have already written:

- disable Trailer in Movies -> Scrapers-Data -> Scraper Fields - Global (if you want that existing links in movie NFOs be deleted: enable Cleanup disabled Fields and do a rescrape)

To enable trailer downloading:
- check Enable Trailer Support in Movies -> Scrapers-Trailer
- enable one or more trailer scrapers in the list
Absolutely amazing update.

I have a few questions about some stuff.

I've noticed that XBMC doesn't read diskart.png, clearlogo.png, banner.jpg, clearart.png and landscape.jpg but changing the settings in file naming, expert in EMM to <filename>-diskart.png, <filename>-clearlogo.png ect does pick them up in "choose art" and they show up in local but you have to manually assign them.

Is there any way to get XBMC to pick them up automatically instead of going to choose art?

Also EMM isnt picking up banners unless they have <filename>-banner.png but does pick up clearart.jpg and logos.jpg with or without the filenames in front.

Should i just run though all my library and make all these files <filename>-whatever so i can delete all the files that are no longer in use?

Movie Set Artwork Automator is only for movie sets, not for additional movie artworks.

XBMC supports only Poster, Fanart, Extrathumbs and Extrafanarts for movies. You need the addon Artwork Downloader for other image types.
Ember Frodo defaults are setted up for XBMC and Artwork Downloader, with one difference: movie banners.

For a working setup with XBMC and Artwork Downloader:

Ember:
- enable all Frodo default settings
- add "banner.jpg" to the banner expert settings

Artwork Downloader:
- disable poster (let XBMC manage this)
- disable fanart (let XBMC manage this)
- enable "use local files"

No, Update Library does only search new files.

You can use this little trick to clean all trailer fields in NFO:
- disable trailer in global scraper fields
- enable "Cleanup disabled fields"
- Use "Custom Scraper" in "Scrape Movies" menu to rescrape only trailer links (select only NFO as Modifier and Trailer as Options)

Now Ember starts to rescraping trailer links, but Ember does clear the field if trailers are not enabled in settings :-)
We are working on a proper solution to clean specific fields, but this should be working also.
This simply doesn't work for me, for some reason none of the scraped images or info is saved in the movie folder. No matter what I change in settings it simply doesn't download, I get the prompts to select poster etc. but nothing is ever actually stored and it sticks with "verifying movie details" before giving up.

Any advice?

So i should delete all the other expert settings i adjusted and just add banner.jpg not <filename>-banner.jpg?

After setting Artwork Downloader to what you said do i just launch it for it to pick up all the files i grabbed with Ember?

1 last thing Smile

How do i update the sets in XBMC if i created them or changed the name in Ember?

Currently there's some weird video codec hardcoded in Ember, see: http://bugs.embermediamanager.org/thebug...issues/147

Im working on a flexible solution, meaning no more automatic video codec mapping in Ember (only use user settings)
I have completely deleted the install, tried again, still not scraping anything at all. LOOKS like it is, pulls all the images etc but saves nothing in the movie directory and shows nothing when 'complete'. Totally lost.

XBMC supports only Poster, Fanart, Extrathumbs and Extrafanarts for movies. You need the addon Artwork Downloader for other image types.
Ember Frodo defaults are setted up for XBMC and Artwork Downloader, with one difference: movie banners.

For a working setup with XBMC and Artwork Downloader:

Ember:
- enable all Frodo default settings
- add "banner.jpg" to the banner expert settings

Artwork Downloader:
- disable poster (let XBMC manage this)
- disable fanart (let XBMC manage this)
- enable "use local files"

OK thanks

So i should delete all the other expert settings i adjusted and just add banner.jpg not <filename>-banner.jpg?

After setting Artwork Downloader to what you said do i just launch it for it to pick up all the files i grabbed with Ember?

1 last thing Smile

How do i update the sets in XBMC if i created them or changed the name in Ember?

Hmm, good question. I think XBMC will support also all other image types someday. XBMC use filename-imagetype for a unique filename. You can add banner.jpg in expert settings, if you want you can also add your <filename>-imagetype.ext.

Launch Artwort Downloader after update library in XBMC, also the MovieSet Automator. But the Automator must be set to the Artwork folder that you have selected in Ember.

If you uave changed the name you need the refresh every movie in this set in XBMC manually in the info screen.
