Well If I get some time, or if anyone else decides to do it.
Mods are basicly just a modification to the origina skin. So the modified files need to be placed innside the original skin folder.

Hi
Thanks, I've figured this out, as posted here,
http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=197905
I used Brimnac's method, except I replaced the "xbmc" bits with "kodi"
Next problem, I've replaced all the files as described, but after a reboot, I see no change. Does this work with Nox 5.5.6?
Thank you.

Haven't had any time to improve this mod recently, but yeah, I will still support it.
Will make a new update for the latest version.

Wow! That was fast! Works great on my KODI 14 (on OS X Yosemite) - not tested on my Linux machine as I screwed up most of Kodi there.
Thanks and again for the good work!

With my OPENelec 5.0 Raspberry Pi build on the full EPG TVGuide screen I get the live TV in the background and also in a preview window in the bottom left hand corner of the TVGude screen. The trouble is the background and preview window of the Live TV both flicker like mad.
Is there way to stop this or even remove the preview window. I am happy to get my hands dirty with editing the xml files.
In advance thanks.

also is there a way to reduce the number of rows on the EPG TVGuide screen by hacking the XML code. Just need a pointer where to look.

great job - thank you - now the Aeon Nox 5 Skin is almost perfect for me... Almost... There is just one little thing why I still have to use DVBViewer for LiveTV. When you press the up or down button, the yu are switching one channel up or down. In DVBViewer, there you are just switching the OSD (channel number, logo, miniEPG - this what you ave added with your mod) and the channel switching will be made when you are pressing enter. Do you understand what I mean ?
My wife and daughter are unsing this feature very often - watching one channel and zapping some channels up and down (without actualle changing the channels - just the OSD of the channels are changing) and when they are seeing another intersting TV shwo then they press "ok" or enter. So you can change the change easily change the channel form i.e channel 2 to i.e. channel 6. Did you get my point ?
Is this somehow feasible with your mos ? I really would appreciate any feedabck.
Thanks
laola

Updated 0.7 zip in first post
- Removed mini-videopreview from EPG guide
- Fixed sideblade in EPG guide (backspace)
@laola: Sorry mate but what you ask for is something that needs to be done inside Kodi itself. I think the devs have it on the to-do list (http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=196022).
This is only a skin-mod.
