So cycling through the viewtypes doesn't change anything?

In my music library i am actually in library mode (database mode)
The selected viewmode is Files. I cannot switch it (won't even cycle) On the right side it shows "Genre,Title, Album,..." and i am able to select music through that. |

Uhm, it's the Alaska Revisited Mod the one that's not working for me. I installed it directly from XBMC skin browser (it downloads and installs the skin).

In the root you only have Files mode (for now at least) but in Albums, Artists, etc there are more.

Lots of changes this time around including the addition of the unicode fonts from Alaska Revisited Mod as default.
The reason for this is to have only one version making it easier for me to update. The Mod version will be removed from the official repo to be replaced with this one (minus the original fonts). To use the original fonts simply change them in the Appearance settings of XBMC. When the time comes for this to go on the official repo you'll need to come here and get the download link for the fonts. I'll need plenty of testing from you guys to make sure everything is aligned correctly using the default fonts as well. Changelog 2.2.0 Added: Wall Square and Wall Poster viewtypes Added: Fanart and Fanart Horizontal viewtypes Added: InfoList viewtype Added: Media Totals option Added: Background visualisation option Added: Ability to disable 'Return to Home' for Movies, TV Shows and Music Added: List view to Artists Added: Option to change default Lyrics and Subtitle scripts Added: Option to choose (Plugin) Add-ons as well as (Script) Add-ons to the Apps submenu Added: Support for TVTunes Add-on Added: 'microsoft' video codec flag Added: 'Master Lock' and 'Log off Profile' to the Shutdown menu and the Settings submenu Added: Fonts from Unicode version Fixed: Fanart/Filter problem Fixed: Video OSD Info alignment Removed: Lyrics and Subtitle dialogs Removed: 'Old Home' style and replaced with current default plus hide conditions Changed: Video Info to display Actor images on right of Actors list as most are low quality Changed: Watched Status icons Changed: Tidied up Video Info image display code Updated: Spanish strings (thanks to CyberXaz) 2.1.2 Added: Reboot to Shutdown menu 2.1.1 Added: Poster Info viewtype Fixed: Add-on Settings labels Fixed: Hide Music Files submenu button ![]()

Just ran an update and noticed that "Music" is displayed although it is marked hidden in Alaska preferences.
Home screen images and text seem to be somewhat bigger than before, on the other hand the effects when switching through the items on the home screen are snappier now. |

OK, I can see this going to cause confusion so I'll keep using the original fonts as default for my repo version.
Also, I'm using the 'Home hide options' from the old Alaska so you can't hide Music, Movies or TV Shows - this is the best compromise for the time being. ![]() |
