I've run out of ideas and haven't found any information in my searches to help figure out my problem:
I added a new folder (Happy Endings) representing a new tv show that I want to add to XBMC. In this folder I have the two currently available episodes. When I fired up XBMC, not only does it not recognize any of this new information, but the TV Shows library is not there! When I go in and find the files, I can play both of them just fine. When I try to manually scan for Show Information it finds "Happy Endings (en)." When I try to select that, it says "No Info Found."
Information for this show exists on TVDB: http://thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=167571&lid=7. Has this ever happened with anyone else!?
TVDB scraper not finding show that is in their database

Try creating a tvshow.nfo file in the folder. In this file paste the root url of the tv show url from thetvdb. This will tell xbmc exactly which show it is.

How is each of the episode video file named?
I like to use a tool like TheRenamer to rename and move my video files into the proper location. |

Seems like I have an issue with any new series I add.
However If I add for example a new season to a series I already have, then XBMC picks that up. Has anybody come across problem |

There is a issue with adding a new path to a share with (I mean the share not the folder) with content already set that it won't look in the second path unless you unset the content and reset it again
Skins I have done.... ![]() And others in the past... Want to know what I'm working on currently? Check me out on Google+ |
