[RELEASE] SportsDevil - Watch Live Sports and Highlights

this is a great plugin, it is hard to maintain this plugin because the site that holds the stream keeps changing the layout so the catchers will need need to be updated reflect that, that's why many links for live sports don't work now, that's why I still have boxee on my ATV1, boxee takes the page url and displays the flash content in its own browser, no need for rtmp extraction.

So you complain, complain, complain then ask that we get a working provider list, but you FAIL to actually post any of your working/not working results. 1st: I joined in March, but have been around longer than that. I've had XBMC operating on multiple computers over the past four years. I joined in March to get a handle on the Linux side, after jettisoning Windoze. And, I've asked two questions in forums that drew, exactly, ZERO answers. That's a very helpful community, there.

2nd: Since it went over your head: It's easy to point out what's not working: none of the baseball links. Nothing that is flash oriented. FirstRowSports.eu provides no links, just schedules. Can't even get a schedule off CoolSportz. Basketball? In 10 days, I've gotten all of 1 link to actually bring up a game. None of the American football links. I couldn't even get the pre-TV portion of the Masters to play through SportsDevil yesterday morning.

So, tell me what works...Because I'm not finding anything.

I offered an assessment I hope helps people not waste their time with an add-on that doesn't work. Its the type of add-on that makes people sour on using XBMC and search for other answers that will work. The author has a great idea in place, but what good is it to promote that it has all these links for streams...only to have there be no streams for them to use.

I have never seen/read a more ungrateful community user then yourself....

1st: no one really cares when you joined and your two questions you asked were not questions....they were pointing out that nothing was working for you....how can someone help you if you dont provide a log? if you are so experienced then you should know better. I am a rookie at this but I would know that saying something is not working is not going to get me an answer...i would put a log of what is not working.

2nd - i think it went over your head...instead of complaining...offer a solution..

READ YOUR F******* POST...you sound so ungrateful.....you are the reason why developers just give up...I just want to puch my screen hoping it will connect with your face!

Hey guys, I am new to XBMC and SportsDevil. I have installed XBMC v11 on my ATV2, along with SportsDevil 1.7.4.2. I am having a lot of difficulty finding streams that will play on my ATV2, even though they play just fine from my browser on my Mac (I realize that shouldn't always mean the XBMC stream should work, just saying I am checking that the stream isn't down completely).

I am hoping I'm just doing something stupid/wrong that someone can point out to me, as I'd love to get this working.

For example, I just tried watching the Portland / Golden State NBA basketball game from FirstRowSports.eu. Link 1 worked on my Mac, but fails to load in XBMC on my ATV2. It appears to be a supported type of stream (04stream).

Hey Guys.
I changed from Win7 to xbmcbuntu Eden and here te plugin is not working anymore. Before I start digging deeper, do you know whether I have to install other codecs or flash in xbmcbuntu? I don´t know if this is installed already. Or what am I doing wrong.

It just doesn't work anymore. I haven't gotten any of the links to work in weeks for anything. Most of the baseball games use streamtorrent. They keep changing the links and the way the video plays so you are better off just watching them in your browser because as long as the same system is around this addon is never going to work for more than a few days until links get changed again. It is a constant cat and mouse game.

Unfortunatly any plugin doesn't work on my notebook.

When i try to install sportsdevil it works well but when i try to add a source and then try to start, it shows me SCRIPT FAILED


Can someone help me?

This was an example for LIVE Stream but it is the same with Live TV sports devil and so on...
