[RELEASE] SportsDevil - Watch Live Sports and Highlights

I spent a little time working on this, it's relatively easy and it works fine for me.
You will need SFTP/SCP access - you can use the following tool, WinSCP - it's avaliable for free, just do a google.

This is for ATV users only, I guess the same applies for others though, just different directories.


change the directory to /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/addons/plugin.video.SportsDevil/resources/modules

Replace livesports.cfg with https://gist.github.com/2941335 - rename to livesports.cfg before replacing.

Then go to /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/addons/plugin.video.SportsDevil/resources/modules/livesports

delete the following files:

firstrowsports.eu.categories.txt
firstrowsports.eu.cfg
firstrowsports.eu.links.cfg
firstrowsports.eu.streams.cfg

Then download and extract the following and place them in the same directory as above - http://speedy.sh/b2pZH/livesports.zip

Then you'll need to replace the 04stream.txt in /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/addons/plugin.video.SportsDevil/resources/catchers with the following:

Now go on to SportsDevil and TheFirstRow.eu should be there and all should work, this worked for me, I can't guarantee it will work for everyone.

I cant get it to work. I do everything you say, but when i go into live sports, it is empty. I downloaded the first file which has a .gz extension. I replace it with a .cfg extension. Then replace the 4 files under live sports, but 3 of them look like EXEC files. I did not do anything to them. And the last file i copied and paste the 04stream.txt file.

would it be possible to post the addon with the changes you made via rapidshare or some other file hosting site along those lines?

None of the files I put on had a .gz extention.

Hi, I can't upload it with the addon, I tried doing it myself by installing as zip, It just automatically reverts to the old files, possibly due to it auto updating, not too sure.
