I recently reformatted my computer and reinstalled Windows 7. Installed the newest XBMC version and started my database over from scratch. All of my movies are .mkv in rar'd format. I am using the imdb scraper. For some reason the database will scrape once just fine. Then the next time I close out of XBMC and reopen it, XBMC checks for updates to the database and creates duplicate entries for half of my movies (not all of them). The duplicate entries play sound only (no video at all) when you play them.
I opened the video database in a database editor (XBNE) to see what these duplicates were linked to and the one that plays sound only will be linked to something like:
Abandoned.2010.720p.Bluray.x264.rar
The one that plays correctly will be linked to something like:
rar://E%3a%5cAbandoned%2e2010%e720p%2eBluray%2ex264.../avs720-abandoned.mkv
This never happened in my last installation of xbmc. I have no idea how to solve this issue. Any help is appreciated!
