[ATV2] Crash when starting 720p video
#1
Hi!

I have installed ios 4.3 and JB was done with pwnagetool.

I installed XBMC over nitoTV.

When i start any 720p Video in XBMC it crashes to the normal ATV Menu.

These are ~ 1,3 gig big mkv files.
I also tried to convert it to x264 mp4 files. it also crashes.

All other SD files are working fine.
Also i rent a movie in HD over ATV - it also works fine.

I also disabled the subtitles.

I have no idea what i can do more to bring 720p files to work.

Hopefully someone can help me here.

Here is the xbmc.log debug logfile:

Many thanks in advance.

iOS 4.3 is only supported by unofficial builds currently. Please search the forum before posting.

It's mentioned in the Jailbreak FAQ. Maybe it wasn't clear or maybe you haven't read it yet?

Have you tried disabling the subtitles embedded in the mkv?

@senaxx: yes i tried to disable the subtitles - it don´t help

I have installed now the nightly build and now the 720p mkv files are running.
the problem now is, that the file is not running fine..

how can i say it in english...

the file "judder" ("ruckelt" in german)
it´s not buffering - i have the ATV2 per LAN Cable connected.

Try to stop playback and then start the same file again. I sometimes get the same judder you describe, either when playing a file for the first time or when I've been skipping around alot.
