I am looking for suggestions for a tv tuner card so I can start playing and testing the PVR Branch. Here is a link to my current motherboard. I am not to familiar with all the different formats, so I am not to sure what I need.
All the slots on the board are open (pci and pci express, so I could go either route). I live in the U.S. and this will be used with Cox cable. No digital box. I would like the card to be kinda future proof (if that makes any sense), so I could use it for a while. Dual Tuner would be best, as I eventually plan to buy additional cards once I have it working to allow recording more things simultaneously. I will probably try tvheadend first since it seems to be the one recommended by others, but may try out media portal's tv server running on vista also.
