I am lost, i cant make ATV2 XBMC work properly

Hi

and thanks for taking me in to this community

I have a JB greenpois0n atv2, forgot to save to umbrella :-(

I am stucked with xbmc atv2 restarts or stops every 5 minutes.

My goal is to only play flac/mp3 and use a remote as only control

i have a readynas ultra6 and share flac/mp3, cat 6 cable all over.

I am not shure where my trouble are so i start with version info to inform you.

atv2 is running with:

OS 4.2.1. (8c154) greenpois0ned
Programbuid 1553
Prog versjon 4.1.1


nitoTV i have installed and updated ATV2 to version 10.0-7

So im asking for a litle help out of this.

i cut and pasted so no i try.
By the way, when i ssh into atv an do a ls command i cant se cat etc. is this cat hidden?

if you want to see all files (incl hidden files/folders), do "ls -a"

Personally, installing updatebegone from nitoTV solved the issue. I didn't have to modify my /etc/hosts file to stop the updates/crashes from happening. YMMV but it's an easy first step... if it doesn't work then edit your hosts file.
