Hi, i have a working ATV2 and have mythbox addon installed. However, I am unable to point the folder to my NAS shares. Since ATV2 does not have samba is there any way (installing any packages) that people have tried and has a working setup that they wish to share?

The atv2 cannot mount any remote share under the native os. There are many threads as to why. XBMC has an internal smbclient and that's why it can access remote smb shares.

Mythbox cannot see XBMC smb's - Probably I am out of luck.
