Check it out if you want a quick and dirty setup. I've just run through this a couple of times on Mint Debian from source and Xubuntu from the ppa.
I can post a full guide from vanilla Xubuntu to functional XBMC PVR if anyones interested.
Also big thanks to dushmaniac and the other devs for making this happen!
