Streaming video problem

Hi guys,

I am a new xbmc user coming over from Boxee. I have the basics down but I am having a problem when I try to stream video from external sites such as youtube or icefilms.

This includes all trailers etc. As soon as I hit play I get a black screen, I can manually select the play button and the video will start but around 10 seconds in the picture will freeze and the timeline will continue to play.

I can seek in the video fine and if I pause the video then play again it will resume.

This is not internet connection issue as I am able to stream 1080p video with minimal buffering and I have tried some of the videos outwith xbmc and they play instantly without any pauses.

Any suggestions?
