[WINDOWS] Network / Standalone Profiles?
#1
I can't seem to easily find an answer here, but I have XBMC on a PC hooked up to my TV and home network. The library pulls files from a network location.

I'd like to be able to copy some of my movies directly to this PC so I can take it to a friend's house, but I'd like to have a separate XBMC profile/library that I can load without adding to my existing library of network movies. i.e. I don't want my TV Series' listed when I'm off-network, but when I come back home I'd still like to see what I have/haven't watched, etc.

Is there some way I can create a separate profile in XBMC so I can keep the two libraries separate?

Yes. Go to Settings | Profiles and set up a new profile with only those sources that you want available. It can reference your existing sources or can reference a different source - such as what you want to achieve.
