Fedora 14 with XBMC

Sad
Hi guys,

First up my system:
Asus p6-p7h55e (bare bone system) integrated graphics chip
8gb 1333mhz RAM
i3 3.06ghz (or something)

Now I run Fedora 14 on this system, all is good and nice except whenever I play a .mkv the audio plays relatively fine, but the video is unbelievably sluggish. Its like the frame rate dropped out completely, its so bad you can't watch it at all.

I apologize beforehand if this has been addressed already, I couldn't find it.

Thanks in advance and XBMC rocks (otherwise)

Solved...

I went out and bought the cheapest pci-e video card (nvidia based) and installed that along with the propriety drivers from Nvidia and presto it works like a charm. Very smooth, very nice.

(NOTE: to install NVIDIA follow this website http://www.if-not-true-then-false.com/20...au-driver/ especially the part about disabling nouveau!!!!)

I guess thanks to me, but hope this helps someone else.
