"Exi" option missing from Confluence?
#1
I'm running xbmc Dharma on Ubuntu 11.04, via the PPA-team-xbmc-unstable repository.

Just realized that The confluence theme no longer has Exit an an option in the shutdown menu (For when we want to drop back into Ubuntu and not just turn off the machine.)

Any ideas on if this is a permanent change, or just a problem with the build?

Also, any thoughts on which is a good, reasonably stable xbmc I can run and not have to worry about these sorts of changes? (Sorry, I'm an xbmc newbie, but use Ubuntu for a few years now.)

Thanks.

Quote:Added: setting to hide the exit button, useful for people running appliance based setups where exit would only confuse/complicate the user. Modifiable via the advancedsettings.xml by setting showexitbutton to false, default is true (show)

Thank you very much. I'll dig into it as soon as I get back in front of my xbmc box. :-)

this means if you run XBMC-live or Just XBMC installed in a system you don't need a exit button, as it is pointless. SO yes its permanent in such cases.
