[RELEASE] xbmclyrics script - automatically grabs lyrics online

Amet,

The lyric box you are using does not scroll when using the cursor keys {down}.. (I'm not talking about the auto-scroll)
-but we could go 1 line by 1 line down instead of page by page.

Is it possible to put the cursor up and cursor down back on the lyric box so we can do 1 line at a time up or down?

Thats how I had it before. Apparently it works better as is now.
Look back couple of pages, you will see Ronies coment about it.

I will see what I can do about it.

ok I've tried this and under windows pressing page down/up will take the whole page up and down (although you have the logic reversed :>)

however pressing it makes it go way to fast and if there are three pages.. its very hard to get it to stop at page two.

(i have a chip-modded xbox v1.4 with the latest t3ch build [23183])

I'm using 23183 as well, but lyrics aren't working. I'm just wondering if you had to do something extra. I downloaded the build, played an mp3 off the hard drive, then ran xbmclyrics to no avail. Am I doing something wrong?

I tried the script. It asked me to choose a folder, I browsed to the folder containing mp3s, then it processed but said downloaded 0 files. Log here (tried a few times to run the batch downloader script close to end of log):

I was just playing around with it a bit and I got an error message: "Error: script failed" when I hit "play music" from the settings window. I've posted the log here:

Try version 1.7.8 from SVN repo. It should now work correctly.Under settings choose "smooth scrolling" and you will get the line-by-line scrolling.

Let me know if that's what you had in mind
