ady199 Wrote:Hi,

Extract the files from the rar file first............

Then copy over the skin.cirrus extended v2 folder to:-

/private/var/mobile/Library/Prefrences/XBMC/addons

It's as simple as that.

I must admit though that I've gone back to using v2.04 - The fanart is just so slow with v2.05.

I did precisely that however, on my MAC using FORKLIFT, I receive errors during the copy. I'll try a different program.

Thanks.

Edit: Well, using Cyberduck, I did not receive the errors (never had issues with Forklift before) however, the skin was still not visible within the list of installed skins. After copying, I had to bounce the ATV2 before it was available as a selection.

Rather embarrassing. I should have tried a different program before posting here. Sad

I am still puzzled by the "addon does not have the correct structure" error message I received when attempting to install from a zip file.

Thanks for your assistance.

Such a shame. Most everything else is slick in every way.

I am missing a setting somewhere, I believe... Can anyone suggest how to always display CDArt animation on the visualization screen? At this point, I can only see a way to manually display it per song by pressing the 'info" button within XBMC Remote on my iPhone.

When the song changes, the new CDArt is displayed for approx. 5 seconds and then disappears from the screen.

This has always been my experience regardless of the skin I use.

No big deal.

Edit: I'm using the Pandora script, BTW.
