I use eventghost to trigger a video library update whenever a new file is added to a video source directory. If this occurs during playback the video playing stutters a lot until the update is complete. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it known behaviour? A bug? Are there any workarounds?

The base of my PC is

CPU Intel® Atom™ D525 (onboard) Processor
2GB RAM
NVIDA ION II GT218

I also have an Atom processor and I have the same issue running Windows 7. I assume it is because it is an underpowered cpu
