can you look inside your movies folder and list what files are listed for a given movie?

looking at your setup I wonder if the "movie.tbn" and "The American.tbn" are causing the trouble, my gut tells me that if you were to look at movie.tbn it would show the thumbnail. Try removing it. If you access the context menu for the move and select get thumb does it show cover art?

I looked at both. Both are the poster. I know that this does not make sense !

Remembering that even after I uninstalled everything, and re-installed, I stil was left with the same problem !

try removing the movie.tbn file and see what happens. Have you tried using a media manager program.

might want to check the sticky on scraping issues.

Hudson,

I removed it. I am afraid it made no difference. I do use EMM.

OK... (edited) I thought that I had fixed it , but I had not.

What I did was to delete *.tbn, *.nfo files from all the movie folders.

I deleted the movie source completely.

I restarted XBMC. I reset the sources, but did not run the scan, nor update the library.

In non-library mode, it all looks fine... with nice poster art work shown.

BUT, at the business end, in LIBRARY MODE, all I still have are the movie clips !!

What do I do now ?
