[ALPHA RELEASE] Welo - a new skin in development for XBMC




Here's the alpha release of Welo skin!

Please note the alpha is incomplete. The missing/incomplete parts will be added for the alpha/beta releases, ready for the final release. Additional views will be added after the final release. Please note that i won't be taking requests at this stage. Only bug reports please!

Please use a recent nightly build for Welo skin use. Welo skin isn't supported on Dharma or Dharma 10.1.

Welo is now on my repository, so it will be easier to push changes and for you to update. Download the repo file from here...

Install the above .zip file to XBMC via 'Settings - Add-ons - Install from zip file'. Once installed, my repo will appear under the 'Get Add-ons' section. If installing for the first time, you will need to perform a force refresh on the repo for it's content to appear.

Cool! Very interested how it will run on other systems as i developed on quite a high spec windows machine.

Take special note that the dialog textures will change (i've temporarily used a basic mod of Foundation), and that some animations are missing.

i like , u gonna update the setup screen also or let it be based on alaska ?

i really like the OSD of alaska so maybe just make it a bit greyer like home and it would be fine for me !!

also the TV shows picture is not right ...
maybe make like a bannerwall ??

The setup screens are bit simple so maybe i'll so something later. Welo had no mockups for this so i kinda knocked up something and it's stuck since!

i mean , when i select tv shows list views , i get the list with a DVD case format picture next to the list but it uses a banner and shrinks it ... i refreshed the serie but it did not do anything new ...
