I Posted a question on the general Support forum, but just found out this might be specific to Apple TV.

Long story short, after deleting the "userdata" folder to take care of a problem I had with the interface (which solved indeed the above mentioned problem) I found myself with another problem. I seem to have only standard add-on available. Compared to my first look at the add-on, I seem to have only the standard ones and cant even pick up a new theme.

So this is what I get from a fresh install ox XBMC on my PC (Win7 with xbmc 10.1)



And this is what I get on my Apple TV2 (4.2.2 with xbmc 10.0-7)



Any idea what needs to be done to go back to before?

SOLVED... the hard way.

Seems when you are using nightly build you have limited add on available...

Reinstalled everything from a 4.3 restore ipsw
Jailbraked (using Snowbreeze 2.7.3 this time, but I don't think it makes a difference)
Installed XBMC through nitoTV
Created a Back up of the addons.db file in the userdata/database folder
followed these instruction to fix the video issue for the 4.3 http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=97246
Replaced the new addons14.db with the backep up one...

Not the shortest solution but it works.

Lesson learn: back up that addons.db bufore using nightly.

I read somewhere that a lot of add-ons are not compatible due to changes in the model.
Just wondering, being able to install is one thing but do your add-ons work?

Arc is Eden, so will only show the addons that have already been updated to work with Eden. Govto xbmc.org. There was a post about it and when the change took place.
