There are lots of different backends which all have different benefits, (e.g. MythTv is good at recording but another backend would be better for live tv) therefore would it be possible to have multiple backends with different roles. So you might have a recording backend on a server and a dedicated live tv backend on another pc. You would need more tv tuners but the benefits could be great.
Any ideas on if this would work?
I am very much looking forward to XBMC PVR!
