i've installed alexpoet's xmbc emulator scripts and read his tutorial. i have copied the tutorial script to q:\scripts\test.py.

how exactly do i run/test the script? when i open the file from windows i see a dos window flash by quickly.

hmm. i've downloaded alexpoet's xmovieguide and that does open with a double click. so i've miscopied his tutorial script or there's some nuance i'm missing.

never mind. my bad. the tutorial scripts referenced a background image i didn't have.
