Dual Boot Live And Myth With Win7
#1
Hi Folks,

Just bought a new SSD and was wondering if it is possible to dual boot XBMC Live with Win7 while running a MythTV backend in Live. If so, how should I partition the drive? How much space should I leave for Live? If it's not possible to use live in conjunction with Myth, I would install Ubuntu and XBMC with Myth. I am planning on using the new HDHomeRun Prime when it is released next month and I would like to record and watch live TV in XBMC. It looks like Linux is the only way to do so now. Still need to have Win7x64 installed though.

Thanks...

I'd start by getting Myth installed and working. MythTV is way more complicated to get installed setup and running than XBMC. Consider starting with a Mythbuntu distro if the main reason for going for Linux is MythTV.
Use MythTV for recording TV? Try the integrated MythTV support in XBMC Media Center. Now with commercial skip support built-in and integration with the Movie database!
