Can't start DVD playing?

Hi all

Complete newbie to XBMC so please go easy on me.

I've set XBMC to start DVD's automatically and jump straight to the menu. This works great but at the DVD menu I can't select 'Play Movie'. Am I missing something completely obvious? I can't even move down to 'Scene Selection' or 'DVD Extras'. It works fine in Windows Media Player.

Ok I might have gotten a bit further. The DVD menu appears to stop playing after about 7 seconds. It is the same with a few DVDs. Is this an issue with the software decoding? The PC is a Pentium D 2.66ghz with 1GB RAM and Intel 82945G graphics chipset.

You should be able to move about the DVD menu using the arrow keys/buttons then select items by pressing OK on the rmeote or Enter on the keyboard.
