Go to "Add network location" instead of "Windows SMB", define your share and supply password.

Are you serious?

I suppose your media files are on PC. You need to share their folders in order for other machines to have access to them. Those shared folders can be password protected, so you need to know username and password in order for PC to let you browse them. Or you can share media folders without password needed - that would grant access to them by anyone, no questions asked.
