Hi folks,

would like to see the E3 press conferences with XBMC.
Can you recommend some plugings whichby you can watch it or offer a good stream?

How are you watching the E3 with XBMC?

Install Dan Dar repository and get gametrailers or eurogamer plugins, they should have live streams.

If anybody gets a live E3 stream working on XBMC, please post here and share Smile

I've been trying all morning to find an application that will allow me to send a URL to XBMC but it looks like those types of apps just don't work anymore with the latest version of XBMC.

Ok, I extracted this URL and plugged it into XBMC via the LiveStreams plugin and got it working:

Same stream is working today over XBMC with LiveStreams.

you can just save it as e3.strm and open it in file-manager/videos.

and its still working today as well.

Perfect, thanks! Hopefully this is exactly what we need. Looks similar to what we used last year, so it should work.

I'll let you know how I make out and please be sure to post an update if a better URL is found. I've had no luck so far so I certainly appreciate your findings.

Yeah, I had to try it a few times before it started.

Just a note: trying to open these streams on an ATV2 causes XBMC to crash for some reason so ATV2 users may be out of luck.

I'm on ATV2. I just had to hit pause as soon as the picture appeared and it started for me. Been going ever since. I'm afraid to stop it Smile
