I don't know if it is just me but the background on some of the views in the last couple of releases seems to be dimmed or darker than usual was this a deliberate thing??

Waht view are you talking about?
The only one that got a bit darker is landscape for episodes...

I have noticed this too, basically any video view (movies/tv shows etc) seems to be stuck in a permanently dimmed state, like when the screensaver is activated.
Toggling between views doesn't change it back
Toggled back to the standard confluence and it was back to normal, went back to the mod and it all went dark again. Doesn't affect the music library, just videos.

Seems you have to set a visible condition for the specific view you want to darken.
Had the same problem in cirrus

Mad-max, thank you for this modification of the default theme, it adds so much of what is missing from the original.
I have a few, minor, niggles about it, which don't really lessen the experience, but you might want to know about.
The time overlay at the top right of the Home screen appears to be one character less in it's justification (The M in AM or PM is missing, although the video is calibrated correctly.)
The 'search' button in the bottom left doesn't work (script.globalsearch doesn't exist)
Like I said, it is no big deal, thank you for making this mod, and allowing us all to use it.

You have to install global search addon to use it with the search button.

This was my fault...forgot to set a <visible> statement in the code...
THX: butch for the hint...In the moment I read it, I knew the bad xml immediately :-)
Problem has been fixed and to "shed some light" on the dark fanarts, I uploaded a new version to the repository...
For those who do not have auto-update enabled, please update to 1.0.7 and problem is gone!

Didn't see this problem, but shifted everything a bit to the left...so should be fine...

I have readded the "CommonNowPlaying" and "CommonPageCount" for all the standard views...
All new views do not show it but everything should be like the regular Confluence...

i have my tv shows in the wide icon view so i can use banners for each show
can you tell me how to change the colour and possibly the style of the watched icon as it is currently a White check-mark (a.k.a tick) and is hard to see on some banners
i was thinking as maybe changing it to some sort of text like the word "Watched" across the banner not too big but big enough to both read it and still see what show the banner is for
something like this
