Has the 'Lock Settings' Issue been fully resolved?

Hi guys

I've a problem with XBMC on a jailbroken Apple TV Gen 2.

I have the well documented issue with adding sources to XBMC from Windows 7 PCs on my Windows Workgroup. I have this problem - XBMC asking for 'Lock Settings' but not accepting my Windows username and password.

It fine adding sources from my Windows Vista laptop (asks for and accepts Windows password as 'Lock Settings') but not Windows 7 one.

I don't have Windows Live Assistant (which I didn't have anyway) and have to he best of my knowledge gone though all other posts on this (hours!!)

Aside Live Assistant are there any key issues I might have missed? Has any definitive answer to the mystery been found?

Thanks

xbmc.log so we can see which version you are running since you neglected to provide that info.

Thanks for the quick reply. Will do, and apologies. Embarrassed question: is the log on my PC or Apple TV and if the latter do you have a link to how do I access it? :o

Some further information - I can add 'Public' folders from the Windows 7 laptop on the workgroup, just not those within the users 'My Documents'.

All resolved. Very basic but hopefully this will help another dimwit.

The individual folders were shared but weren't set to 'share with specific users'. I think the parent was but not each folder.

Thanks for help, it's a great product.
