in xbmp it is possible to see information about the video you are playing in the osd. this info includes framerate, audio channel info etc. i found this very usefull, for instance to decide how to play the video file (switch xbox to ntsc or pal etc).
any chance you can put this in xbmc also?

you already have that info i xbmc...

from keymaps.xml...

i have a remote so i have also added...

<remote>0</remote>

i then can press 0 on my remote to bring up codec info...
