XBMC Live from USB-Boot on AMD Zacate
#1
Hello

my MSI Zacate Board has just arrived, I grabbed an AMD-adapted ISO [1] and put it using unetbootin on an FAT32 Usb-Stick.
XBMC is booting, then it complains in the step "Load installer components from CD" that it is not able to do so...

Any advice?
Thanks!

I'm sorry I'm replying to such an old thread, but I came across this topic when having the same problem, so I though I'd post the solution here.

Three files in the "\pool\main\l\linux" folder on the usb stick have incorrect naming:

firewire-core-modules-2.6.35-22-generic-di_2.6.35-22.33_amd64.ud
fs-secondary-modules-2.6.35-22-generic-di_2.6.35-22.33_amd64.ude
pcmcia-storage-modules-2.6.35-22-generic-di_2.6.35-22.33_amd64.u

They should read:

firewire-core-modules-2.6.35-22-generic-di_2.6.35-22.33_amd64.udeb
fs-secondary-modules-2.6.35-22-generic-di_2.6.35-22.33_amd64.udeb
pcmcia-storage-modules-2.6.35-22-generic-di_2.6.35-22.33_amd64.udeb

Apparently the filename is truncated to 64 characters. This seems to happen when the USB stick was created on Windows 7
