Hi,
since a few days, I noticed that XBMC (Dharma 10.1 on Ubuntu 10.10) no longer updates the add-ons. None of them.
I noticed, because another XBMC instance (10.1 on AppleTV) did update the Aeon Nox skin to 1.3.0 which fixed a bug.
Now on the Linux box, the automatic update did not happen, and I also cannot update manually. And it seems NO add-on could be updated any more.
In the Add-On manager menus, the "Update" button is greyed out. For every add-on which is enabled. Aeon Nox is still at 1.2.0 in this box.
Maybe there is some Add-on repository cache that does not refresh and therefore it thinks all add-ons are up to date, while they are clearly not.
Any hints appreciated.
[Linux] Add-ons can no longer be updated

Context menu on XBMC addons will allow you to force a refresh.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting. Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules. For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first. ![]() |

Thanks, I found it (this context menu item seems only to be enabled on the "Enabled Add-ons" item on the top-level of the Add-Ons menu),
unfortunately just nothing happens. I bring up the context menu. It has only one item "Check for updates". I select it / OK. Nothing happens. No downloads, no popup, nothing. Of course the "Update" button for each add-on remains disabled. :-( |

You want context menu on the "XBMC addons" node (i.e. under "Get Addons").
