Still have an issue with the plugin. I do not live in the US (China actually) and I have various other add-ons that work (France 24, etc.). I changed the URL as proposed before, any fix I did not follow? I updated my log here; http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=65681.

Not sure if your still reading here, but can you update the language in your addon.xml from "english" to "en"?

Does this addon even work anymore? For a long time it has only played the live stream for me, with nothing else is visible under 'News Clips' or 'Programs'.

Yes perhaps. Maybe others can also test and confirm? I tested from France, in case there are any geo issues.

Similar for me.

If I try to open "News Clips" I get an error. If I open "Programs" nothing appears in the list.

The live stream works, but I have always had buffering issues that I don't have with any other addon.

I note from here: http://addons.kodi.tv/show/plugin.video.aljazeera/ that the addon was updated yesterday, however it still shows as broken on that page, and also in the Kodi 17 repo.

If it is now working can the broken label be removed please so that the addon can be installed?

It only get marked as broken, which looks like an update at http://addons.kodi.tv/show/plugin.video.aljazeera/.
I've done that, because someone complained it doesn't work. I haven't fixed anything.

Perhaps the Kodi Addons page needs to be redesigned to be a little to be more clear when things are 'updated as broken' rather than 'updated'.

Now that Al Jazeera's English Live Stream is finally available on their website in the US (and also through YouTube) without the need for VPNs or other trickery, it might be a good time to resurrect this one?

The Live News stream is also available via YouTube, although I'm not sure if it is geoblocked in some regions.

Yes it would be more interesting to fix the other sections so that the longer news segments, interviews, and mini documentaries work.
